Nuwara Eliya Day Tour

The Nuwara Eliya day tour will commence from Kandy after you take your breakfast.

This tour plan-on is as follows: The first stop will be at a tea plantation and factory, after that, you will visit to see a beautiful waterfall. Then you are directed to Nuwara Eliya city. You will visit Gregory Lake and Its park there. After that, you will visit Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Then, we will bring you back to your Kandy hotel to finish your Nuwara Eliya day tour with us.

Option 1

As usual, we start from Kandy and come to Nuwara Eliya to watch the tea estate, the tea factory, and the waterfall. After the Gregory Lake visit, we will drop out you at the Nanu-Oya railways station. From there, you’ll take an unforgettable train ride to Kandy.

Option 2

In this option, we will pick up you in Nuwara Eliya city. Then you will visit the tea factory, tea estate, and waterfall before reaching Kandy. We will safely drop out you at a hotel in Kandy to finish your tour with us.

Tea Factory & Tea Estate Visit

Many tea gardens can be found along the Kandy-Nuwara Eliya route. Those are very beautiful and pleasant to the eyes. These greenish tea plantations and their final product come as ‘Ceylon Tea’ which is so famous worldwide. As our guest, you will be lucky to visit one of the Sri Lankan tea estates and factories during your Nuwara Eliya day tour with us. Most of the time, you visit the Damro Labookellie Tea Estate and its factory.
In the Tea Estate, you will watch and learn activities there, you will also be lucky to pluck tea with local tea pluckers. In the Tea factory, you will learn how the plucked to greenish become brownish tea dust. There you will learn the factory process including activities like withering, rolling, roll breaking, and grading. It is a nice process to study. Thereafter, you will be lucky to enjoy a cup of tea from the Tea center.

Waterfall Visit
You also are lucky to visit see a beautiful waterfall during your Nuwara Eliya day tour. There are so many beautiful waterfalls near the Nuawa Eliya. But most of the time, you will visit to see the Ramboda Falls.
Ramboda Falls is the 11th-highest waterfall in the country with a height of 109m. It is a fantastic-looking waterfall where you can watch from a nice viewpoint. It is an Ideal spot to take some memorable photoshoots.

Gregory Lake and Gregory Park

After arriving at Nuwara Eliya, you will visit Gregory Lake and its park. It is a fabulous place to visit for any traveler to the city. The lake and its park cover almost 90 hectares, where you can participate in many activities. Some of the water activities available on Gregory Lake include speed boat riding, dinky boat riding, windsurfing, and normal boat riding. Other than that, you can go pony riding, cycling, and leisurely walking in Gregory Park. It is a superb spot to get relaxed while enjoying a nice view from the surrounding area.
